I’m still on some G shit, I realize niggas need a specific reason to act accordingly or the hood gets on some chaos theory shit! I hate when pussy niggas try to score points behind my back because they know straight up I don’t play that. You’d be surprised who would try you if they thought you was slipping; point being I never thought to check my circle when securing my cipher. Let it be known now though, I’ve been on that b.s. and I will remain on that b.s.- that I am not the nigga to score points on; and if I let you slide in the recent past, your pass is about to be revoked!

It’s just life nothing crazy; I could take what I want and use people shamelessly if I had no shame or conscious. But I do, so it hurts when a pussy ass nigga takes what they want and uses someone just because they had a chance to. Now take that same pussy ass nigga and they’ll say I’m a bully for using him, why? Because I know he a herb; but when I play nice that’s when niggas dive into they fake gangsta and think that I’m the nigga to play with….

Contrary to my diverse and open lyrics, I can be real ingnorant- actually its what I do best when keeping mofo’s in line, so please business men just be business men/ rappers just be rappers/ thugs just be thugs/ and no more of this role reversal cross dressing shit where a nigga wanna dress urban and think that he a G’ or something- ughhh niggas is disgusting!

Just know if you dealing with Chief: the thug is on call, the business man is shrewd, and the rapper is on point, there’s no switching hats or pants.

To keep things 100 I’m an artist but through all my self righteous lyrics I’m also human and capable of being wrong. Still sometimes the right way to get things done is to be wrong: so sometimes Nov’ has to deal with my bossy, know-it-all attitude just for me to make a point. Now if we were two artist trying to keep it real, the fans wouldn’t have a Chief and NovyNova compilation to look forward to. Fortunately for the fans we’re more than artist, we’re human beings and men of principle. So everything is not peachy all the time but business is still business and Chief and Nov are taking care of business; even if Chief,(me), has to get on some bullshit and stick his nose in everything to make sure shit is right. Now I don’t think I’m wrong but I do think I owe Nov an apology for my bullshit- that’s just keeping it 100…

Ask yourself now; would people say you keep it real or do people hate you because you always keep it 100. What’s more important to you? How do you feel about confrontation when it’s not as simple as “let’s fight” and get it over with?

October 3rd is my b-day, October 16th is my girl b-day and i get to go to work on the 16th; in this case I love work…

Okay, so let me start by saying my god brother is probably a certified genius. I honestly don’t know if he’s the smartest kid in his class (elementary school), but the way his thought process works is so outside the box I’m sure he will do something so amazing one day it will change the world. So when my lil homie was like 3 he came up with a holiday and it’s called JAVIS like Festivus, for the rest of us). In 2004, Little Max described Javis as the Jewish and Christian New Year for all. He said we invite our friends and donate money to Gerrity, the lady who helps poor people (we are pretty sure he meant Charity, so we will have a collection jar for one of our faves, Smile Train). Javis is October 18th and we’ll be celebrating like a family. I invite you to do the same! So in the comments let me know what you think of javis and if you have any extraordinary kids In your life.

How would you rate the President’s performance so far?

Open question, not a lot of redderick to sway you or move you we would just like to get a grasp of what this hip-hop generation thinks of THEIR first black president.

If you asking me, (Chief), I say he sucks just as much as Bush. Only I’m not mad at him for not having answers or not doing anything significant besides being a black president. Nah, how can I be mad at him like any president before him has answered to me or at least to the people. I will say at least Bill had answers (true or not), Bush and Obama are more confused than Keanu Reeves in all of his movies, or at least they act like it.

Almost a full year into his tenier and this motherfucker is still campaining, LOL! I know its not really funny but fuck it when Bush was vacationing through crisis after crisis, nevermind the wars he started or the fragile economy- which everyone democrat and republican alike thought would be corrected or at least balanced by the demands of war, nah fuck em both Bush fished and read to children. Clinton got $3,000.oo haircuts and fucked interns on Airforce 1, not just Monica come on there were other “interns”. And my nigga Obama just be smiling looking good hitting the nation with extended campaign G’. Sadly enough it’s not working on his supporters but not because the nation is desperate or because the people want real answers but just because he’s black and they are trying hold him to every rule and expectation that no president has really met not even the Jew hating Roosevelt, and aside from his Jew hating Roosevelt is reveared as one of the greatest leaders of this nation. Nevermind his nigga hating I mean if we had to count all the nigga haters you know how many niggas we would count? I mean the nigga Roosevelt was a Jew hater up until the olympic games that proceeded WW2. Then of course we all know he drew the line and said nigga hating is one thing but killing all these Jews is getting out of hand, not like he minded that much but it was embarassing in front of an international audience.

If Obama was white I would have voted for McCain easy. He always had answers, like any good liar of a president is supposed to. It’s funny how people can tell me what they don’t like about Obama’a plan for health care reform, but no one not even Obama himself can tell you what that plan is, LMAO. That makes a lot of liars out of his opposition but then makes his supporters look like clowns and guess what- we are; especially if we think he’s doing a good job- we don’t even know what he’s doing. Check the next major sporting event and look in the expensive seats and you may catch our president rubbing elbows with owners and superstars. It’s fun to see sad stories of despair on the news immediately followed by pictures of the president with the Pittsburgh Penguins; I mean so what they won a couple of months ago already- shit I’ll be damned if hockey isn’t American and the president doesn’t have to make time to congratulate our brave athletes, our heroes… nevermind the emergency workers and volunteers dying from chemicals they were exposed to while sifting through rubble looking for survivors and remains @ ground zero. But don’t you dare blame Obama; those unfortunate HEROES have been suffering for two terms.

So if I had to rate the president in comparison to those before him I’d say he’s doing a fine examplary job of staying poise through crisis’ and adjusting to the ever changing needs of the nation. If I had to rate him on what I expect from any public official, I’d say he sucks as well as anyone history has ever seen. But if you made the mistake of rating him based on his living up to his campaign promises than your more disappointed than “fight night” fans after seeing that wack ass “round 4″, (never going to get over that, the worst boxing I ever played and I played Don King’s prize fighter).

I guess this is why you need these alternative bands who come out with songs about getting high on X and crystal meth and laugh as the people sing along not knowing what they’re really saying. Rap is no more responsible for the actions of its audience than a movie and its director are responsible for idiots who try to do in real life what they see in movies. Music in general has lost a lot of respect when it comes to lyrics but singling out hip-hop is not the answer to that problem.
Also I’m really sick and tired of this assumed negative effect of hip-hop on the youth that is not true. No kid or teen does some stupid shit because of the music he/she listens to, I think it has more to do with supervision or lack of along with a lack of direction. I wish hip-hop was a person so people would have to be a lot more responsible with their accusations, could you imagine all the lawsuits for liable and slander?
And Finally to put things in proper prospective I will agree if one says that any artist should be responsible to their audience and acknowledge their young fan base which makes up most of their sales. But lets not forget these are rappers not preist not community activist, but entertaining rappers, that’s it! I never found out what Korn’s positive message was but I no one ever asked. I don’t think Metallica is suitable for children but no one checks on that. I haven’t heard Prodigy in a while but everyone still remembers “Smack my bitch up”…? But fans are lulled into believing that hip-hop is only compiled of derrogatory messages and none of the other genres of music have profanity or negativity. i mean every week one of these pop stars are in and out of rehab, showing their crotch inadvertainly, but i guess because they don’t sing about it people think that the kids don’t see…?
How do we use hip-hop/rap as the scapegoat everytime when you have an artist like Lady Gaga who says to her prodominantly tweeny female audience, “Russian Roulet is not the same w/o a gun/ and when it comes to sex if its not rough it isn’t fun!” seriously do our kids, male/female, need to hear that. How do parents explain that one to their kids?
